Dominik Davalos
President
Dominik is currently a senior majoring in Public Policy Studies and Visual Studies.
He is also pursuing the Policy Journalism and Media Studies Certificate. He became a
part of Duke Student Broadcasting as a freshman in the Sports Department, covering
everything from soccer to basketball. His videos have been featured on ESPNU
and ESPN.com. He later became the TA for the weekly News show run by Duke
Student Broadcasting. He became the Vice President of Duke Student Broadcasting
in the Fall of 2010. Outside of the classroom and Duke Student Broadcasting, he is
a brother of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and is the publicity chair of Mi Gente, Duke’s
Latino student association.

Christine Ko
Vice President
Christine is currently a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Theater Studies and Film/Video/Digital. She started her journey with Cable 13 as a part of the News Team and was the Chief Financial Officer during her sophomore year. She is abroad for Fall 2010 in New York and interning for the Programming Development department of CNN and HLN. She hopes to come back in the Spring Semester and put on some awesome movies and student-produced shows for Duke Student Broadcasting in the future. Her hobbies are surfing the internet, facebook stalking, reading occasionally and being a full-time fangirl of all things pop-culture.

Dennis Chao
Director of Web Operations
Dennis is currently a senior majoring in Economics and Computer Science. He joined Duke Student Broadcasting as a freshman and initially edited packages and produced motion graphics. After seeing the previous outdated website, Dennis made it his goal to create a more modern, user-friendly media outlet for Duke students. Along with lots of help from Maddie and Brian, Dennis produced and launched the current WordPress website in August 2010. Outside of the classroom and DSB, he enjoys playing tennis and teaching himself things on the computer.

Danny Nolan
Director of Sports
Danny is currently a sophomore majoring in Public Policy Studies and Visual Studies and is pursuing the Policy Journalism and Media Studies Certificate. He became of Duke Student Broadcasting his freshman year in the Sports Department and continues to produce content on all the sports Duke has to offer. Danny has produced videos for ESPNU and ESPN’s Sportscenter. Outside of Duke Student Broadcasting, he co-hosts WXDU Radio sports show, is a beat writer for The Chronicle, and is a brother of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity.

Madeleine Clark
Director of News
Madeleine is a sophomore majoring in Russian and Computer Science and pursuing the certificate of Documentary Studies. She has been passionately involved in broadcasting and journalism since high school, and began her DSB as a freshman in the News Department. Her most ambitious goal for DSB is to produce a weekly, live news show. Her other interests include entrepreneurship, and she is currently working on a media-based startup company with her business partner. She serves as president of Incube, Duke’s residential, entrepreneurial incubator, and is politically involved on campus.

Danielle Genet
Director of Entertainment
Danielle Genet is currently a senior majoring in Psychology with the Arts of the Moving Image Certificate and an English minor. Danielle participated in the Duke in New York Arts and Media Program in the fall of 2010 and has interned at Inside Edition and MTV News. As DSB’s Entertainment Producer, Danielle hopes to spotlight fresh talent on campus, cover popular events, and create segments ranging from fashion, theater and food. Jasmin Aldridge
Director of Entertainment
Jasmin is currently a senior at Duke, majoring in Psychology and following the pre-physical therapy curriculum. She joined Duke Student Broadcasting her freshmen year in hopes to be an interviewer. Her first interview was with Dashboard Confessional’s frontman Chris Carraba and every since then she has been able to have similar opportunities through DSB. She has also worked on other show projects with other students in the past. Jasmin hopes to capitalize more on such interview opportunities with all the amazing people who constantly come to campus and to also help other students realize their visions for a show through the Entertainment department. Jasmin also participates in Duke’s social activism organization, Purple, serving as one of the Art & Music Directors. And, Jasmin occasionally dabbles in various other activities around campus. She likes longs walks on the beach at sunset, as well (not joking). Most importantly, she is looking forward to an awesome year for DSB!
